Boy do I have a story about this page in particular (it's not a long story, no worries).
This is probably the single page that I referenced the most when working on the Villain Exchange. Especially in those earlier pages, since in those moments Aisel was trying to come off as accommodating and such. This was a helpful page in general, since my piece also took place in a location like this and there was a somewhat similar vibe (at least at first).
I'm pretty sure that third panel is permanently engrained into my brain somewhere, with Aisel smiling with her eyes closed and having her hands on her chest like that.
It is a really nice page, as well.
I'm glad it was helpful for that! I definitely noticed the deliberate attention to detail. I've got certain shorthands that I love and use to reference things. There's a scene in a later chapter that I love because it has Aisel not being accommodating, she's just being fucking scary. She talks with her hands too, and I like drawing hands so it's perfect.
